Invoices and payments
Price a project's scope
The Scope tab lists a project's priced line items. Office and up click Add items to pick from the catalogue, then set each quantity and unit price. You can turn priced scope into an invoice with New invoice › Priced scope.
- Open the project and choose Scope (under More).
- Click Add items, then search the catalogue (for example “toilet relocate”) or filter by category.
- Pick the items you need, then click Done adding.
- Set the quantity and unit price on each line. Changes save as you go.
To take a line out, use Remove. The tab adds up a total for the job.
Start from an invoice you already have
If you quoted the job in QuickBooks, you can import that invoice's PDF instead of adding lines one by one. See Import a QuickBooks invoice.
Bill from it
On the Billing tab, New invoice › Priced scope starts an invoice from these lines. See Create and send an invoice.
Items come from the Boaz catalogue, the one built into Sora Build. Your client never sees your scope or prices.

- Create and send an invoiceOpen the project's Billing tab and click New invoice. Start from a ready draw, a deposit, a share of the contract, your priced scope or a blank invoice. Check the lines, then click Issue or Issue and send. Once issued, it gets its number and can't be edited.
