Construction invoicing and draw schedules: Get paid for the work

Construction invoicing from the job itself. Tie each draw to a milestone on the schedule, and let clients pay online through your own Stripe account.

Example invoice: a framing draw and a change order with tax, a total, and a Pay now button that takes card or bank.

Invoices

An invoice they can pay in a minute

Your client opens the invoice from a link, sees what it's for and what's owed, and pays by card or bank. The invoice marks itself paid, and the money goes to your Stripe account.

  • Card, bank, or both: your choice
  • Pre-authorized debit in Canada, ACH in the United States
  • Record cheques and transfers paid offline

Draw schedule

Paid as each milestone is done

Set up a draw schedule for a home: what the buyer pays at each milestone, as a share of the contract or a fixed amount. When the milestone is done, the draw is ready to invoice.

  • Each draw tied to a task on the schedule
  • Sora Build can suggest a draw schedule to start from

Questions

Asked and answered

Does Sora Build hold my money?

No. Client payments are made on your company's own Stripe account and paid out to your bank.

Can I record cheques and bank transfers?

Yes. Record a cheque, a wire or cash against the invoice. A part payment leaves the rest as the balance due, and the invoice shows as part paid.

Who on my team can see invoices?

Office roles. Field and viewer roles never see money, and clients only see the invoices you send them.
