In short
- Sora Build uses cookies to keep you signed in, keep the Service secure, remember a few display settings and, if you allow it, understand how the Service is used.
- Analytics cookies are optional. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they're off until you allow them; elsewhere you can turn them off at any time.
- We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Blocking the essential ones will stop sign-in from working.
This summary is here to help. The full text below is what applies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work the same way for this policy. We call them all cookies here.
2. The cookies we use
| Purpose | Examples | Set by | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in and security (essential) | Your signed-in session, and protection against forged requests and bots | Us, our authentication provider (Clerk) and our network provider (Cloudflare) | The session, or up to a year for staying signed in |
| Preferences | Theme and text size, whether you hid the Get set up card, and saved schedule view settings (stored in your browser) | Us | Up to a year, or until you clear them |
| Analytics (optional) | Which pages and features are used, and how people find us, measured with Google Analytics. Your choice about analytics is remembered in a cookie of its own | Google, for us (_ga and _ga_…), and us (pos-analytics) | Up to 13 months; your choice for a year |
| Analytics country | Remembers your country so we know whether to ask before analytics. It holds only a two-letter country code, which our network provider (Cloudflare) tells your browser | Us (pos-cc) | 30 days |
| Payments | Fraud prevention during checkout and when paying an invoice | Stripe, on its own pages and payment forms | As described in Stripe's cookie policy |
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't allow third parties to track you across other websites through the Service. Google Analytics runs with Google signals and ad personalization turned off, and we don't share analytics data with Google for advertising.
What we send to Google Analytics leaves out names, email addresses and company and project names, and replaces the parts of web addresses that identify a company, a project or a link someone was sent. Pages for clients, such as an invoice you were sent to pay and the client portal, don't use analytics at all.
3. Your choices
You can turn analytics on or off at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of our website. Turning it off deletes the analytics cookies. We also treat your browser's Global Privacy Control signal as a no.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to sign in. Clearing preference cookies resets your display settings.
