Getting started
Try a sample project
A sample project is a ready-made job with a real schedule, partway through, so you can click around before adding your own work. Add one from the last setup step or Home's Get set up list, and remove it any time with Remove sample project.
There are two samples:
- Lot 14, Cedar Hollow: a single-family home partway through its build.
- Riverside Medical Office: a commercial project with phases and links between tasks.
A sample has “(sample)” in its name and a banner that says it's sample data. Nothing in it is sent to anyone, so try anything.
Add a sample
- At the end of setup, under Explore with sample data.
- On Home, in the Get set up list: Add the sample.
- On an empty schedule: Open a sample home or Open a sample project.
You're offered the sample that matches what your company builds. Adding one takes the Office role or higher.
Remove it
Click Remove sample project in the banner, or in the project's … menu. You can undo it right after.
