Getting started
Take the guided tour
The tour starts by itself the first time you open the app, and a short project tour the first time you open a project. Use → or Enter for the next step, ← to go back and Esc to skip. Replay it any time from the ? Help menu with Take the tour, or from More on a phone.
The tour takes about a minute. It dims the page and points at one thing at a time: on a computer, the apps rail, search, New task, My work, Documents, your projects and the ? Help menu. On a phone, it shows the bottom bar, + and More. Steps for things you can't see or use are left out.
Move through it
- Show me on the first card starts it. Then Next, Back, and Done at the end.
- Keys: → or Enter for the next step, ← to go back, Esc to skip.
- Skip on the first card, or the × on any card, ends it.
Finishing or skipping it is saved to your profile, so it won't start by itself again, on any device.
The project tour
The first time you open a project after the main tour, a shorter tour points out its tabs: the schedule, Documents and your client. Inside a project, the ? Help menu also has Tour this project.
Replay it
- On a computer: click ? in the top bar and choose Take the tour.
- On a phone: tap More in the bottom bar and choose Take the tour.
