Getting started
Set up your company
Setup asks for your company name and link, what you build (homes, commercial or both), and who to invite. You can skip the last two and change most of it later in Settings › General, but the company link can't be changed.
The setup steps
- What's your company called? Type the name. Your link (sorabuild.com/your-company) is filled in for you. Click Edit to change it now, because you can't change it later.
- What do you build? Choose Homes, Commercial buildings or Both. This sets the words and tools new projects start with. You can click Skip for now.
- Invite your team. Add email addresses and a role for each, or click I'll do it later. See Invite your team.
Last, choose how to start: a sample project, a template or a blank project. See Try a sample project.
Change it later
Owners and admins can edit Settings › General:
- Company name and Company size.
- Time zone, which decides what “today” is for due and late work.
- Week starts on: Sunday or Monday.
- Your street address.
- What you build: new projects start as this kind. Pick Both to choose each time.
Hid the Get set up list on Home? Open the ? Help menu in the top bar and choose Get set up to bring it back.
