Summarize a thread or draft a reply
Above a comment box, Summarize sums up a long thread and Draft reply fills the box with a reply you can edit. The same help appears as Draft details on approval requests and Draft note on invoices.
These helpers sit above the comment box on task comments and on the project conversation in the Client tab.
- Summarize appears once a thread has a few comments. It sums the thread up in a few lines.
- Draft reply puts a reply in the comment box. Nothing is posted until you post it.
- Draft details fills in the details of an approval request when you Ask for approval.
- Draft note writes the note to the client on an invoice.
Replies your client will see
When the thread is shared with your client, Sora Build checks the draft for amounts, email addresses, phone numbers and private names. If it finds any, it warns you with "Check before you share". It won't stop you posting, so read it first.
If the draft was written from internal comments too, it reminds you to make sure it's fit for your client.
You need a paid plan and the Office role or above.

- Ask your client to approve a changeOn the project's Client tab (Owner on commercial projects), click Ask under Approvals and say what needs approving. Your client approves or declines it in their portal. Their answer is final and goes on the record with their name and the date.
- What can AI do in Sora Build? On paid plans, AI drafts weekly project updates, sums up comment threads and drafts replies, and reads trade invoices into scope lines. Everything it writes is a draft you check before anything is saved or sent.
