AI features
How does AI handle my data?
AI only runs when someone clicks an AI button, and it only sees what that person could already see. The request goes to our AI provider, which doesn't train on it, and we don't keep a copy of what's sent or what comes back.
AI features are optional, and they never run in the background.
- Only when you ask. AI runs when someone clicks an AI button, and not at all while AI is turned off for your company.
- Only what you can see. The AI reads the project through your own access, so it never sees more than you could. Field and Viewer users can't use it.
- Not used for training. Requests go to our AI provider, which doesn't train its models on them.
- Nothing kept. We don't store what's sent to the AI or what it sends back. Only what a person accepts is saved.
- A person decides. Every result is a draft. Nothing reaches a client until someone on your team sends it.
For billing, we record which feature was used, how much it cost and whether the draft was used, without the text.
When you import an invoice, only the line descriptions, without amounts, may be sent to a matching service. That happens on any plan.
The Subprocessors page names every provider, and the Privacy Policy has the details.
