Projects
Project statuses and archiving
A project is Planning, Preconstruction, Active, On hold, Completed or Closed. Change it with Status on the project's Overview, or drag it on the Projects board. Archive finished jobs to clear them from your lists, and restore them any time from Projects › Archived.
Statuses
The six statuses are Planning, Preconstruction, Active, On hold, Completed and Closed. Completed and Closed both mean the job is done: its health reads Complete and it can be archived.
- On the project's Overview, change Status. It saves at once, with Undo.
- On Projects › Board, drag the card to another column, or use Move to… in the card's … menu.
Archive
Archived projects leave Projects, the sidebar and the calendar. Nothing is deleted.
- One project: open its … menu and choose Archive. A finished project also shows an Archive button in a banner.
- Every finished job at once: on Projects, switch to Completed and click Archive all completed.
Restore
On Projects, switch to Archived, open the project's … menu and choose Restore. An archived project also shows Restore when you open it.
The Office, Admin and Owner roles can change status, archive and restore. There's no button to permanently delete a project; archive it instead.
